Overjoyed by Oaxaca, Part Two

This photo shows what wonderful scenes you can come upon in Oaxaca on any day. These lovelies were posing for a photograph and the giant puppets and huge balloon indicate a parade.

Markets are always one of my favorite destinations in Mexico, though it isn't always easy to photograph them due to cramped and narrow aisles.

You may need a translation to be sure of what you are buying.

These fit nicely into suitcases.

The market is the place to go for handmade clothing.

Bakeries were everywhere and you have to sample them all.

Children hang out after school as their parents work.
