The New Mexico History Museum in Santa Fe recently unveiled a new exhibition, Slowriders, Hoppers & Hot Rods, which salutes the Northern New Mexican tradition of modifying cars in amazing ways.
My husband and I went Sunday afternoon to see it. We have a membership in the New Mexico museums but all the museums are free on Sunday to New Mexico residents.
This car belongs to one of the museum guards and we got to talk to him about it while we were there.
All of the state museums in Santa Fe are amazing and wonderful. I am always engaged by the depth and design of the exhibitions in all of them.
