SITE Santa Fe

SITE Santa Fe is right in the middle of the area of Santa Fe called the Railyard, which includes the farmer's market, light rail station, galleries, Railyard Park, Violet Crown movie theater, and more.

SITE Santa Fe creates significant experiences for visitors by presenting contemporary art in new and engaging ways.  Since its opening in 1995, SITE Santa Fe has been committed to supporting new developments in contemporary art, encouraging artistic exploration, and expanding traditional museum experiences.

This installation in front of the museum is temporary but it fits the building beautifully. I would be happy to have it at my house!

The current exhibition is Much Wider than a Line. This exhibition is part of SITE’s ongoing biennial series with a focus on Contemporary Art from the Americas.

I am in love with the building and how its colors look against the deep blue New Mexico sky.

SITE Santa Fe’s current facade is an “intervention” by innovative Los Angeles-based architect Greg Lynn.

This work in the exhibition is by Zenobia Bailey and called Sistah Paradise Great Wall of Fire Crochet Revival Tent.
