Also offered is the NY Life Award, sponsored by the New York Life Foundation. Teens are invited to submit works of art and writing that deal with loss and bereavement. Six winners will be selected to receive $1000.00 scholarships and top works will be shown as part of the annual national exhibit in June 2011. Submissions may now be entered. It's wonderful opportunity for students to express their writings. There is need to conduct these sort of events on regular basis. The scholarship money is just amazing. It will entourage students to make their writing meaningful. Anyone can participate in this event.
