What the Art Teacher Wore

Katie Romanic
Cassie Stephens, author of the blog, In the Art Room, and a SchoolArts Advisory Board member, recently hosted What the Art Teacher(s) Wore/Back to Art Teacherin' Contest on her website. SchoolArts is proud to announce the winners, chosen by popular vote on Cassie's site.

David Meade
The second place winner is David Meade. He teaches kindergarten through second grade at Joseph Rogers Primary School in Rogersville, Tennessee.  David created his colorful look by crocheting his beret and making his mustache. He also wears that apron everyday to teach art!
Cheryl Burette
The third place winner is Cheryl Burchett, an art teacher at Beaumont Magnet Academy (a K-5 elementary school) in Knoxville, Tennessee. Cheryl's hand sewn dress in that super cute art supply print also has tiny pencils sewn around the neck.
Dorie Michael
Fourth Place winner is Dorie Mishael, art teacher at Cora Kelly Elementary, in Alexandria Virginia. Everyone was smitten with Dorie's hair, handmade skirt, and Kandinsky-inspired rug!

Thanks to all who entered!
